When someone asks me, "What's your job?", and my answer is always the same: I'm a graphic designer. I am neither a graphic artist, nor an illustrator. I cannot draw for the life of me. But what I'm good at is using design elements and finding their right space on an empty page, a blank canvas, a new layout. The same way an interior designer uses already existing elements to stage an empty house to make it a home, I use graphic elements, fonts and images to create the perfect design on a page.
I have been working as a graphic designer since 1995. From my humble beginnings in Italy as part-time desktop publisher, I wrestled my way through changing styles and computer programs, and across the world. Many things have changed, but I still feel the same passion about my work that pushed me into the world of graphic design to begin with. Now in full-time employment, I'm specialized in layout, but I also work with vector graphics and photographs, using the holy trinity of graphic applications: Adobe inDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
If you are interested in my work, drop me a line. I'll gladly wrestle my way through your project, too.
